Networking Meet and
Greet
Our Networking Meet and
Greet is a work in progress that we believe to be essential in continuing to
meet and collaborate with other artists. As a production group rather than a theatre company, Willie
Bobo was founded on the principle of networking to find the right people for a
particular project, be it one of our own productions or that of another artist
or group. There are many talented artists here in NYC with many great ideas. It
can be very difficult as well as cost prohibitive to embark on a project as
important and brilliant as that project may be it may never see the footlights.
Willie Bobo wants those ideas to have a public audience and believes that many
of them can by taking a sound business approach, exploiting individual
expertise, diversity and talent and assembling teams or artistic people to make
a production happen.
Although we have our own productions planned
for 2003, we also have smaller events and productions that we intend to develop
and produce as well. We also encourage project development and production with
others. We may have some resources to offer you. We may have worked with someone
in the past that we believe could be beneficial if not instrumental in
fulfilling your vision.
